ERROS REVISITED THE TROJAN HORSE IN THE YEAR OF THE WOODEN HORSE!

In this day and age, Trojan horse could be that ubiquitous program in which malicious or harmful code is contained inside apparently harmless programming or data in such a way that it can get control and and do its chosen form of damage, such as ruining a file allocation table on one's hard disk. Of course we're talking here of a program supposed to find and destroy a computer virus but eventually became a part of a computer virus itself. Well, for Erros, nothing excites him more than the legend of the City of Troy, its Trojan Horse and the famous warriors involved. In the times of Ancient Greece, around 1100 BC to 146 BC, Troy played a key role during the Trojan War. Troy was a great and powerful city. Many heroes were involved with Troy and the war, such as Achilles and Hector. The great walls of Troy were so large, that the Greeks were not able to penetrate them. The Greeks were eventually successful in getting into the city, but not in any way you would think. But being a hopeless romantic as he is, Erros was more fascinated by the famous and courageous characters the Trojan war brought forth, namely Achilles, Hector and Paris.Achilles was one of the fiercest warriors of his time. He was a hero to the Trojan War, having killed many enemy soldiers. "Achilles also has the attributes of being the most handsome of the heroes assembled against Troy" (Achilles). Achilles was the son of Peleus and Thetis. At the time of the Trojan Was, he killed another famous warrior named Hector. Hector was yet another fierce warrior of his time, but instead of Greek, he was a Trojan. King Priam and his wife Hecuba were the parents of Hector. He was married to a woman named Andromache. She gave birth to a son which they named Astyanax. Hector was not just a father though; he was what kept the Trojan going to help the defense of Troy. During the Trojan War, Hector killed Patroclus, a friend of Achilles, who at the time of death was wearing Achilles' armor.Another son of Priam was Paris. Before Paris stole Helen away from Menelaus, his former love was to a woman named Oenone. Paris was challenged to a fight my Menelaus. Menelaus had clearly won the battle, but just before he could deliver the final blow; Paris was taken back into the safety of the city walls. Paris is the cause of Achilles famous death. He shot an arrow into the back of Achilles foot, just before he was going to escape. The Trojan War is probably the first, fully recorded ancient war that gave rise to different parameters of civilizations and successful kingdoms such as the Greek empire or the Roman Empire. It has influenced mankind. Indeed, the story of the Trojan War has taught humanity that time is an element that changes everything, even the most powerful and the weakest. Time is, in fact, an element that shapes civilizations. ( buzzle.com)
