" OF DAEMONS, DEMIGODS AND GODDESSES " ~ ERROS' CAPSULE COLLECTION : TIMBERLAND, SAN MATEO, RIZAL LOCATION SHOOT.

'Twas a chilly weekend morn, late in this humid month of August when team Erros ventured climbing up the verdant hills of this lowly town east of the metropolis. In his book Conquistas de las Islas Filipinas, Father Gaspar de San Agustin records the Municipality of San Mateo in 1572 as a town annexed to Pasig. He described the inhabitants as "fierce but friendly and of quiet disposition". At present, this town is mostly lined with residential areas with many spacious parks and industrial districts but Erros and his team were more fascinated on the eastern side composed of high plateaus and of course the lush greens along the foothills of the majestic Sierra Madre mountain range. Few local motorists and early mountain bikers were somewhat aghast and bamboozled when these enthralling and prodigious mythical creatures started alighting off the van and scaling up the rough Timberland trails en route to an equally magical plenteous tributaries of the Maly and Nangka rivers. Up in these cascade of rolling hills in between towering bamboo trees and revitalizing sights of torrential waterfalls was the unparalleled site of these spellbinding photo shoot. Errors' whimsical and fabled satyrs and naiads consummately blend to the locale's phantasmagoric ambience to the delight of June Orosa, a fortuitous physician by profession but an ardent photo enthusiast on the side, who just flew in from the far north of the archipelago just to capture this emblematic moment when man's creativity intimately blends with God's resplendent creation. Nothing short of magical marvelously transpired as fantastic shots after shots were delectably taken not just by our main photographer but also by visibly amused onlookers who were patiently entertained with this whole enchanting event. And as if by some harbinger timing an outburst of torrential rain poured down on this verduous locale (just as Team Erros started wrapping up what proved to be a very rewarding session), with what apparently be consideredNature's way of cleansing and restoring itself to its unblemished beauty - an entity essential to each and every definition of life.
